Today, His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Omar Bin Haider is the Founder and Chairman of MOBH Holding Group and the principal patriarch of the Bin Haider family.

In 1968 at the age of 22, as the eldest son in the family, he inherited a large share of the family’s business from his late father, Omar Ali Abdullah Bin Haider. From that moment, the progress of commerce and development never stopped and went to greater heights. He became one of the youngest and most promising entrepreneurs who contributed to the UAE’s dynamic economy. This success can be attributed to the support and guidance shared to him by “the late His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum” who inspired him to excel better in life, to achieve his vision and mission and moreover, as a father figure to him.

As a visionary, Dr. Bin Haider has been hailed as the new standard for what it takes to win in today’s global market. He aimed in introducing multiple industries that will contribute to the growing economy of the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Bin Haider’s expertise and influence in the business arena have become one of Dubai’s cornerstones in good business practices today. Moreover, this has been attributed to his dedication and commitment towards excellence. As one of the UAE’s leading diversified business conglomerates today, the organization employs more than 6,000-multinational workforce from more than 60 subsidiaries, affiliates and joint venture entities, with diverse business interests across multiple sectors and geographies around the world.

Through his leadership, Dr. Bin Haider has driven MOBH Holding Group to be one of the leading diversified business organization in the country. Moreover, Dr. Bin Haider has a prolific history as a community leader in public service in the Emirates. He continued his father’s role as the trusted member of the Dubai Municipal Council in 1994, and the Chair of the Lease Disputes Committee at Dubai Municipality until 1999. During this period, he played a vital role in the real estate construction of modern-day Dubai and the development of the sector’s statutory and regulatory framework.

As an enthusiastic philanthropist, Dr. Bin Haider established MOBH Charity, which supports a number of charitable causes within the United Arab Emirates and various global locations around the world. He believes that his purpose in life is to make a difference on other people’s lives, creating an impact in the society and serving as an inspiration of hope and success to many. Dr. Mohammad Omar Bin Haider stressed that, “the people are always his first priority above other matters. Businesses are secondary as they are driven by people” .

His legacy has endured for more than six decades and is predicated by investing to human resources and continual quality improvements through effectiveness, efficiency, productivity and performance across various businesses and companies that he leads.
